Always seeking new clients is, well, exhausting. Why not contact your current clients and find ways to serve them? Having already established trust, they are your 'lowest hanging fruit.' Take advangtage of that, and watch your business grow! Here are some great ideas you can use right away to get started:
Client Satisfaction Survey. Typical you want to conduct a survey shortly after the initial contact, however, this is a great way to find out why your clients chose to work with you.
Update their contact info. Sometimes things change. As their agent, you should be aware of these changes, especially, their contact info. If you can't reach them by phone due to disconnected/charged numbers, you need to try by mail, or even stop by. You may find that they've passed away and the family never claimed the policy.
Getting the beneficiary/emergency contacts info. If you look at the applications, you'll find that some companies request more info than others on the beneficiary/emergency contacts. As brokers, it's our job to look out for our clients and their families. One way to do that is to have the contact info of the beneficiary and introduce yourself.Making sure they have important info pertaining to the policy and also taking the time to advertise your services to them.
They are in their ICEP, a SEP or already 65. October 15th through December 7th every year is Medicare AEP. This is time to review your clients health insurance and make sure they have everything they are entitled to and understand their current benefits.
Last but not least, Host an educational event for your clients. You can have an educational event at their home, church, family reuion, other group function, in their community room,at the local Y or even here at the office.
Remember there's more than one way to skin a cat, there's hundreds of ways to reach out to your current clients and renew the relationship. If you need help, we're here for you!
