Plan

Yep. It's that simple. "a goal without a plan, is just a wish." Planning is a very important part of life. It is very important part of business. While making your plan you should also include, how many hours you want to work, when and where you want to vacation and your family obligations.

Keep Learning

If you don't use it, you lose it! The same is true of your business skills. You need to attend weekly or even bi-weekly trainings, listen to the masters, ask questions and take risks to practice what you've learned.

Master your Business

When ever someone asks what you do, it should not take you five minutes to answer. In one short sentence describe what you do. It can be, "I help seniors find the best retirement insurance solutions" or " I help people manage risk." Whatever you do, find a short, comprehensive way to say it. If they want to learn more, prompt them to set an appointment. In the situation where you might have to give more information, be ready with an answer, and a business flyer. Leave them with two or three, so they can share.
