Medicaid is title 19 of the Social Security Act added in 1965. As a joint Federal and State program, Medicaid helps cover medical cost for some people with limited income and resources. Medicaid, also offers benefits not normally covered by Medicare, like nursing home care and personal care services.

As a part of our free services we provide, we are authorized in Illinois to assist in applying for Medicaid. You can make an in office appointment or we can schedule a home visit. Please note that each state has their own reqirements and benefit amounts available.

The spenddown is a program within Medicaid, to help people financially qualify for Medicaid. If your income is too high or you have too many assets, the spenddown can help you. Medical bills and expenses can be used to bring down your income and help you meet the financial qualifcations.
